Kemp Construction, Inc (Kemp Inc) is an Unlimited Utility Contractor specializing in Wastewater and Water Facilities, performing Construction, Equipment Installation, Maintenance and Repairs. The Company was founded in 1983 by Colin Kemp in New York State. In 1993 Colin moved the entire company to North Carolina, where it has operated ever since.
In 2015 Colin announced new leadership within the company. His son Luke, proudly accepted his new role and has been driving the company to new heights ever since.
Kemp Inc. is licensed in North Carolina (No.34033) and in South Carolina (No. G15913) and is Insured and Bonded.
Kemp Inc. has contracted services to Public Utilities, Industries and Municipal Owners through- out the Carolina’s, providing a wide range of services including Process Equipment Installation, Building Construction, Concrete Construction, Underground Utility Piping, Chemical Systems, Instrumentation and Control Work, Welding, Plant and Equipment Maintenance, Concrete Structure Leak Repairs, Coatings and Sealants etc.
Kemp Inc. is a member of and actively involved in AGC, NCAWWA, NCRWA, NCWOA, ASCE, SCWWA/WEASC and SCRWA
Our Field Crews
Kemp Inc. field staff is trained in confined space entry, trench safety and other OSHA safety training. Field staff responds regularly to emergency situations in the water and wastewater industry. Kemp Inc service trucks are fully equipped, including some with 12,000 lbs. boom cranes, confine space equipment, welding machines; cutting torches; air compressors; safety equipment; pumps and hoses; rigging; small power tools, hand tools etc.
